Highlights on view include Tiepolo's
Burial of Punchinello and Gioacchino Assereto's
Tancred and Erminia leading the Old Master Pictures section; Van Rysselberghe's
Le Moulin de Kalf, 1894, representing the 19th century; and Renoir's
Portrait de Madame X, 1875, representing Impressionism. Post-War art is highlighted by an untitled Mark Rothko dating to 1967 and an early Francis Bacon,
Man Carrying a Child, 1956. Contemporary art is represented by Jenny Saville's
Juncture, 1994.
